This 1986 Ferrari 328 is one of 1,344 fixed-roof Berlinetta models produced and was sold new by Symbolic Ferrari in La Jolla, California. It spent time in Washington, British Columbia, and Alberta prior to the current owner’s purchase in 2015. Finished in Rosso Corsa over beige leather, it is powered by a fuel-injected 3.2-liter V8 mated to a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels, pop-up headlights, a gated shifter, power windows, air conditioning, and a MOMO steering wheel. This 328 GTB is now offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, initial sales paperwork, manufacturer’s literature, a tool kit, service records, and a clean Washington title.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa (300) and features pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, side air intakes, dual side-view mirrors, a power antenna, a black spoiler mounted over the rear window, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear valance. The selling dealer notes that the left quarter panel received paint touch-ups and a dent was removed from the right-front fender in 1995. Burn marks and chips are visible, and paint meter photos are presented in the gallery.
Staggered-width 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires measuring 205/55 up front and 225/50 at the rear and showing 2021 and 2019 date codes, respectively. Braking is handled by power-assisted ventilated four-wheel discs. The brake fluid was flushed in June 2021.
The seats are trimmed in beige leather and are complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets, while the dashboard and door handles are trimmed in black leather. Interior amenities include a gated shifter, power windows, air conditioning, embroidered floor mats, a locking center console, and a rear-window defroster.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation consisting of a 180-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Ancillary gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard along with an analog clock. The six-digit odometer shows 27k miles, approximately 400 of which were added under current ownership. A January 2007 Carfax entry notes a potential odometer rollback, which coincides with the mileage being logged in kilometers.
The mid-mounted 3.2-liter Type F105 V8 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and four valves per cylinder to produce a factory-rated 270 horsepower and 223 lb-ft of torque. Service in 2021 by Ferrari of Seattle reportedly included the replacement of the timing belts, rollers, accessory belts, fuel filter, and oil seals for the camshaft and crankshaft. The valves were also adjustable and the camshaft covers were resealed.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The gearbox oil was changed in 2021.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Symbolic Ferrari and lists factory colors, equipment, and a total price of $61,070. Initial sales paperwork, manufacturer’s literature, a tool kit, and service records are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage, notes the aforementioned potential odometer rollback and lists history in California, British Columbia, Alberta, and Washington from an initial entry in 1991.
