1974 Triumph TR6 - SOLD

This beautifully restored and maintained TR6 went through a body-off restoration that was started in 2001 and took just over two years to complete by longtime owner (1978-2018) Driven less than 4,000 miles since the engine rebuild was completed by R&R Performance Engines. At that time, it included all new internal engine parts, hardened exhaust valve seats, Isky Z-19 performance camshaft, Stebro stainless steel exhaust, and 1972 emissions equipment for a less cluttered engine bay and easier tuning. The cam features 268-degree duration. The clutch has been upgraded with a .75″ clutch master cylinder. 4-speed transmission with a Laycock de Normanville J-Type overdrive that was rebuilt using new old stock syncros. The frame was chemically dipped, inspected, and reinforced by a local specialty frame shop, including fitting boxed and gusseted rear differential mounts. Chassis upgrades include Goodparts adjustable trailing arm brackets, TRF polyurethane front suspension bushings, Goodparts Nylatron rear trailing arm bushings, Spax adjustable front shocks, Apple HD lever-arm rear shocks and uprated rear springs. 1972 seats were picked along with 1972 emissions equipment and slim bumpers for aesthetic purposes. In preparation for sale, an oil change was completed along with a coolant flush, fresh transmission fluid, and differential fluid. A new starter motor and new wiper blades were installed. The car comes with a binder filled with records dating back to 1978 along with a photo album throughout the restoration process. As with any vehicle that comes through our doors the car is turnkey and ready to be enjoyed.
