We’re excited to offer what is, in my opinion, one of the best-looking cars out there, presented on behalf of a longtime client of ours. Finished in Bluette over a Cuoio Skai vinyl interior, the color combination suits the car exceptionally well and highlights its timeless design.
Based on the history we’ve been able to piece together, the car was originally delivered in England before making its way to California. It was later acquired by the current owner from a gentleman in Georgia and has been garage-kept here in Washington since 2017. With the owner now out of state, the decision was made to pass the car along to its next caretaker. The engine stamp falls within the correct matching-numbers range, and the car is accompanied by a Certificato di Origine.
We’re offering the car as a running and driving project. something that can be enjoyed as-is while continuing to be sorted for more regular use. Compression photos are included in the gallery, along with documentation of the work completed in preparation for the sale.
To get the car up and running, we carried out a comprehensive round of mechanical recommissioning. The carburetors were removed, disassembled, and gone through, and the head gasket was replaced. Cooling system service included a new water pump and thermostat, while the ignition system was refreshed with new spark plugs and wires, cap and rotor, ignition coil, and condenser. A new battery was also installed.
