We're keeping the magic alive for this 1979 Turbo in Petrol Blue. Our paint team meticulously repainted its factory color, working our way down to bare metal and building back long-lasting paint in this gorgeous hue.
Before the paint process could begin, the vehicle was carefully disassembled by our mechanical team. Then, after paint, the vehicle returned for reassembly where its charismatic details are restored and repaired including: gauges, lights, antennas, wipers, seals and even AC.
This particular Porsche 930 was previously modified with dual exhaust. To make this more seamless, our fabricator updated the rear valance to smooth out rough patchwork.
Here's the project step-by-step:
Complete Classic Car Repainting
- Disassemble vehicle
- Strip to bare metal
- Spray epoxy primer on body panels
- Metal repair to address dents, rust, etc.
- Use filler to enhance body lines, perfect flow
- Spray and block out polyester primer
- Disassemble panels for final prep
- Reapply seam sealer
- Apply primer sealer

In a few weeks, this Porsche will be all put back together with everything in-place for a long life of thrill rides.
