This 1966 Chevrolet Malibu Chevelle is a professionally built Pro Touring restomod completed by Revolution Speed Shop in Auburn, Washington between 2020 and 2023. The car was fully reimagined with modern performance, drivability, and handling while retaining the classic Chevelle design. Since completion, only 1,986 miles have been added, as shown on the Dakota Digital dash.

Power comes from a forged LS2 V8 with AFR 215 heads, a BTR cam, LS7 lifters, BTR pushrods and valve springs, an Eagle rotating assembly, and ARP fasteners throughout. Induction is handled by a Holley Sniper low-rise intake manifold with a 102mm throttle body, hidden coils under script valve covers, and a new PCM with a custom wiring harness. Cooling is managed by a Griffin dual-pass radiator with electric fans, while a full Eddie Motorsports billet front drive system carries modern accessories. Exhaust gases exit through Speed Engineering shorty headers feeding a custom 3-inch stainless exhaust with electric cutouts and an aluminum driveshaft.
Power is sent through a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission with a McLeod RST clutch, hydraulic kit, and aluminum flywheel to a custom narrowed Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.73 limited-slip gears. A Rick’s stainless fuel tank with a 255 LPH pump, return-style fuel system, and Vibrant braided lines.Â

Chassis and suspension upgrades include a boxed and powder-coated frame, custom front sway bar, C6 Corvette spindles, and C6 upper and lower control arms. Stopping power comes from C6 Z06 front and rear brakes mounted with Kore3 brackets and powered by a Wilwood hydroboost system with a proportioning valve and braided lines. Steering is handled by a DSE rack-and-pinion setup, while ride quality is tuned through Ridetech coilovers at all four corners. The rear suspension features a narrowed frame using an ABC Performance kit, ABC mini tubs, QA1 upper control arms, Ridetech lower brackets and arms, Kevlar-lined R-joint ends, and a Ridetech rear MuscleBar sway bar.

The exterior was refinished in a custom color during the build, featuring hidden body hardware, color-matched bumpers, smoked Dapper halo headlights, smoked lenses, satin black trim, and tinted glass. The result is a clean, cohesive look that balances classic muscle car design with modern aggression.
The interior is equipped with Vintage Air climate control, a Dakota Digital instrument cluster, an American Autowire harness, a Flaming River keyless steering column, billet dash vents, and new window felts.

In preparation for the next owner, we did a full fluid service. This included engine oil/ filter, fresh coolant, power steering, brake fluid, transmission, and differential fluids. Along with a new battery.
This Chevelle represents a comprehensive Pro Touring build with top-tier components, thoughtful engineering, and a professional finish. It is available for viewing by appointment at our Tacoma facility.
